McSteelhead set to West Virginia

A gentleman came into the shop from West Virginia looking for an improvement in his game and for equipment that could stay relevant for years. After a full fitting we fixed his current putter. found the Callaway GBB with an ACCRA shaft the way to go and the Steelhead hybrid, irons and PM grind wedges.

The key was the proper length as he is a bit shorter than average. When we found the correct length things started going where we wanted. So we ordered the set long and uncut so we could add the McGolf touch.

Thanks Mr. Wallace

Callaway Big Bertha Drivers flying out the doors

Below are pictures of two young men that went through a McGolf Fitting and the GBB driver to be the long ball tool for them. Although young and strong each golf had unique qualities that needed different settings and loft for their drivers.

That's is the positive you can get from a fitting. See how each setting on a driver, each shaft and each loft affects your driver, In both cases we had to shorten the length of the driver to get the impact consistent and quality of the hit at its best.

That guys for the support

Single Length Irons to Columbus

A golfer came to us from Columbus just about 1.5 hrs away specifically to hit single length irons.

The Sterling set of irons from Wishon have traveled to Maryland and Louisiana from McGolf so far.  Putting set of these irons in the Buckeye stated seemed proper.

We made sure the set make would work and found the proper shaft and grips to complete the set. They are being delivered today.

I am expecting good things since the other two sets have scored in the 70's

A refit results in new clubs.

Gary has been a friend of McGolf for years. We have worked on his clubs on and off whenever he gets a new set. recently retired and with a little more time on his hands he decided to be rechecked.

His swing was smooth but wanted more distance and don't we all. The Callaway XR irons, driver and hybrid were the ticket for his needs and our recommended specs.

Thanks Gary

A Big Guy get a Big Set of irons

A golfer came in looking for some help. Turns out he is about 6'6" and has hands the size of a VW. When done with the fitting we found he needed an inch taller iron and because it was going to be long and he needed some shock absorption that a graphite shaft was needed. Then addressing the hands. Jumbo Max fit the job nicely. Check out the set. We found the Wishon 771 perfect for control and forgivness with the Recoil shaft and jumbo max grip to complete the recommendations.

If you are very tall or very short or have a medical issue a fitting can help find the best fit for comfortable, consistent golf.

MC Taylormade a reshaft makes all the difference

A golfer from the West Virginia Border came for an iron fitting and could not figure out why he struggled hitting the new Taylormade irons. After a very successful fitting we found the shafts were not as advertised, he needed a length adjustment and a slightly more flexible shaft. We found the KBS shaft to be the perfect fit for this correction. Then he states he likes orange.

The only grip I have is in the PURE grips and he needs an undersized grip. No issue. We stretched the grip just slightly and got the style, color and size on the clubs for him to be consistent.

Thanks

Single length irons and a good story

Here one we don't here very often. We get a call for a fitting, We say OK where are you from? He says Mississippi. We say Great! but why here? Thinking that wow! he came all that way for single length irons. Then Shane says oh I am up here for a vacation. laughing ourselves back to reality I precede to find a very good swing in Shane. We found that KBS shaft met perfectly with his late release and slightly more aggressive transition. We finished the clubs off with Golf Pride Super Tack grips to combat the high humidity in Mississippi (when typing this I am thinking crooked letter crooked letter, hump back, hump back I, you older folks will get it). thenew Sterling irons looked good and the initial hits were very nice. See how they turned out and Thank you Shane!!!

It just goes to show ya

That the golf set needs to be of the same designer. Andrew of Circleville was looking to get some game and was referred to us by some other AEP types from Kentucky. THANKS GUYS!! During the McGolf Fitting we found the Callaway XR irons to be a great fit for his swing tendencies and we also found the Wishon driver with the ACCRA shaft worked as good if not just a bit better than the Callaway offerings. The light weight of the shafts matched his smooth tempo and slightly early release to help eliminate the right side of the fairway. the Golf Pride CP2 pro grips also matched his grip style and hand size. See what Andrew took home for better golf. Thanks Andrew

McCallaway Set to Jackson Ohio

Jamie was looking to ensure the current set of clubs were right for his game. Unfortunately they were not. Actually he is a much better golfer than the current equipment. After a computerized McGolf fitting we matched the XR OS irons, MacDaddy wedges, XR hybrids and Big Bertha driver to his game, He is tall with longer arms and a smooth swing. Add in hitting the ground slightly before the ball and the OS iron when cut to length and bent to the proper lie are a great fit. The W grind wedges in black also matched up to his short game tendencies.

The Driver was adjusted and cut to the proper length for a rocket launcher off the tee. Check out the NEW McCallway set

and thanks Shane
