The Clubmaker’s Review #2: Brigdestone B-330 Rx

Urethane seemless cover for tour performance and feel for the player with average swing speeds.
This ball provides a low spin option for the driver and a soft feel for the irons. If your driver speed is 105 mph or less and you just can’t find that ball when looking for a bit more distance off the tee the Bridgestone B-330Rx is an excellent choice.
I have played the B-330 Rx ball for the last 5 rounds. I found the cover to be long lasting and the feel to be top notch. In talking to other better players with stronger swing speeds, they too enjoyed the Rx ball.
The folks at Bridgestone finally set up a booth to test lefties at the PGA show . After hitting a few Rx balls the box did not lie by providing a great distance for me. The down side was I did not spin the ball enough yet I produced a great launch angle. I said well,,,, what do you have for the spin? The young man running launch monitor produced a Bridgestone B-330Rx S an Rx ball that spins more with the same feel. Apparently I am not the only golfer with the low spin result.
How do you get more spin without changing the driver, change the ball! Bridgestone will present to the world the B-330 RxS ball. “S” for spin! Iwas fortunate enought to test the new ball. I maintained the same launch angle with more spin or enough spin to optimize my drives.
For a tour ball performance at amatuer level swing speeds look for the new an improved B-330 Rx and B-330 RxS golf balls to be available in March. If you want a low spin option the current Rx ball is another great choice.
When looking for a new ball take a look at the Bridgestone RX.
