day 2: Jim gets to golf

I slipped into a tee time at the slammer and the squire near the world golf hall of fame. As a single you can get in anywhere pretty easy down here.  Oh,, the margaritas at the Caddy shack are weak and came in a beer glass.

The Slammer and Squire is a 6200 yd course at the blues where the second shot is key to a great round. The greens are fast and the course is open. See the pictures. A very classy set up to be sure but the price will drive many away. It was a course to play once and move on.

I was paired with another single. Jay from Boston a transplant as of November and owns a Cadillac dealership in St Augustine. In one hole I had to hit a drauwrer to get the ball to hole, just ask Jay. Jay is a class act making for a great round.

Off to Daytona, Bubba Gump shrimp and just found out the bar is free for an hour today!! Can you imagine a grown man jumping up and down in jubilation?

I have the LPGA course and the Daytona Country club in my sights for tomorrow.
